> ShortenItUp is an AI meeting attendee that prevents bad meetings instead of just recording them. It checks whether a meeting even needs to happen, joins the call to keep discussion on the agenda in real time, and auto-assigns tasks to Notion, Jira, or Asana before anyone closes the tab.

ShortenItUp is built for startups and SMEs with chaotic meeting culture — teams that lose time in unstructured, endless meetings that derail focus and delay real work. Unlike note-taking or transcription tools such as Fireflies, Otter.ai, or Fathom, ShortenItUp does not wait until a meeting has already gone wrong to summarize it. It intervenes during the meeting: flagging off-topic discussion in real time, and — before the meeting even starts — flagging whether it's necessary at all, suggesting an email instead where possible. The product gets more accurate at facilitation the longer a team uses it, learning who tends to derail discussion and which topics repeat without resolution.
